Facility Updates
We’re continually enhancing the experience at the Prosserman JCC and Schwartz/Reisman Centre. Here is a look at what’s underway to make your time with us even more meaningful.
Modern Locker Hallway Upgrade
We’re modernizing the locker hallways outside the changing rooms to create a cleaner, more open space at the Schwartz/Reisman Centre. Only our new rental lockers will remain. The refreshed design brings simplicity, function, and a fresh look to your daily visits.
Hydration Upgrade at SRC
Five new water filling stations are coming soon to the Schwartz/Reisman Centre. They’ve been purchased and are on the way, making it easier to refill and refresh throughout your visit.
Studio A & B Are Getting a Fresh Look
Exciting updates are coming to Studio A & B, two of the most active spaces in our JCC. These studios are where movement, creativity, and connection happen every day.
The renovations will enhance your experience while keeping the spirit of community at the heart. New look, same place you love.

ChaiTech Accelerator Applications Now Open
Jewish founders building early-stage tech ventures are invited to join the next ChaiTech Accelerator cohort. Participants receive tailored mental health and resiliency support from #REALTALK’s Cherry Rose Tan, plus a six-month JCC membership and select personal training.
Program highlights include potential 2025 missions to Israel, investor review panels ahead of graduation, and a Showcase Night pitch opportunity in front of over 300 investors and community members. Each founder is eligible for a $4,750 credit toward a Schulich Venture Academy program featuring leaders from Panache, Wealthsimple Foundation, TouchBistro, or Sensibill, and may also pursue a Schulich Mini-MBA, valued at $8,500 (limited spots available).
ChaiTech offers mentorship, community, and investor readiness in a space rooted in Jewish values.
Bring Joy to a Child this Chanukah
For many families, Hanukkah shines a little dimmer when the basics come before the blessings. From Tuesday, November 18 to Thursday, November 28, we invite you to help brighten the season through Spread the Light, a community toy drive supporting Jewish Family and Child Service’s Drive for Dreidels. Your donation of a new, unwrapped gift offers struggling parents a moment of relief—and children the chance to feel the joy, dignity, and celebration they deserve. Drop-off locations are open daily across the GTA from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Chanukah Shuk
Discover something special at the 2025 Chanukah Shuk at the Schwartz/Reisman Centre! On Sunday, December 7 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, browse over 40 curated vendors featuring Judaica, art, jewelry, gourmet treats, wine, clothing, and more. Enjoy delicious bites, family-friendly crafts, and a festive atmosphere that celebrates local creativity and Chanukah spirit. Tickets start at just $5, with free admission for kids under 12. Proceeds support the JCC Children’s Fund, making your visit meaningful for more than one reason. Free parking available.
