Join the Toronto Holocaust Museum on November 3 for the Opening Night of Neuberger Holocaust Education Week featuring a profound conversation between author Ruth Franklin and Indigo founder Heather Reisman. Together, they explore Franklin’s new book, The Many Lives of Anne Frank (if possible in italics if not, no worries), unpacking the diary’s global impact and the ways Anne’s legacy has been interpreted over time. Moderated by one of Canada’s most influential literary voices, this evening invites reflection on memory, identity, and the enduring power of storytelling. Books will be available for purchase, with a signing to follow.

On November 9, gather at the historic Kiever Shul for The Songs Remain—a deeply moving Kristallnacht commemoration presented by the Toronto Holocaust Museum. This musical tribute, directed by Charles Heller, honours the lost voices of Jewish communities through centuries of sacred melodies. Featuring performances by Cantor Tibor Kovari, pianist Shoshana Telner, and violist Jacob Clewell, the program culminates in a candle-lighting ceremony led by Holocaust survivor Pinchas Gutter.
